Be Inspired By Chu Chih-Kang’s Most Famous Bookstore Design Project –  The renowned interior designer has won more than 10 design awards, including the German Design Award and the Iconic Awards, issued by the German Design Council. He is the author of some of the most creative design projects in the country!

Since 2015, the Chu Chih-Kang has been creating impressive design projects which turned out to be a huge success in the international media. The renowned interior designer believes that when the nature of space and the owners’ expectations are understood, the issues surrounding space application are resolved and ornate decoration is replaced by simple materials. His amazing design projects are marked by Chinese cultural elements.

Some people say that Chu Chih-Kang’s works are reference new modern eastern design. From amazing residential projects, business and office projects, to product design and amazing exhibitions this renowned interior designer has created some of the world’s famous projects, such as Wuguan Books, UPAR Flagship store, Chengdu Fangsuo Bookstore, Shenzhen’s Green Homes,  Kaohsiung Pop Music Center International, Ice and snow test drive base, among others.

Chu Chih-Kang comes from Taiwan and has been exposed to rich culture since his childhood. Chinese cultural elements, which are not superficial but with deep cultural connotation, could always be found in his design. Combined with his keen observation of scenario, his works could always awaken those emotions in people’s memories, that is why his works could touch readers’ heart. His works touch not only Chinese who have shared cultural memories, but also westerners.

Also known as the Designer of “The Most Beautiful Bookstore In The World”, Chu Chih-Kang studied product and architecture design from Taiwan’s Shih Chien University.
