Located on Lize Road, the Leeza SOHO is a 207m mixed-use tower development featuring one of the world’s tallest atriums at 190m. The modern architecture project was created by the distinguished architecture studio, Zaha Hadid Architects. This 45-story modern architecture project responds to demand from small and medium-sized businesses in Beijing for flexible and efficient Grade A office space.
The atrium of Zaha Hadid Architects‘ modern architecture project is directly connected to the new subway interchange station, as well as the city’s bus network on Lize Road and Luo Tuo Wan East Road.
The Zaha Hadid Architects team wanted to incorporate a convex-shaped glass facades couple with the tower’s curtain wall system to provide ventilation and natural lighting. Heat-insulating materials and double-glazing are used to reduce heat transfer across the modern building.
The team from Zaha Hadid Architects also decided to incorporate multiple walkways at the tower’s different levels connect the two halves and it features city views from the centre of each floor. Advanced 3D building information modelling (BIM) software has been implemented in the tower’s modern architecture, construction and operation, and this same modern software will monitor the environment control and energy efficiency within the modern building.
