Director of creative design and manager the design process at Perkins + Will, Diane Thorsen remains the creative force behind the studio’s in Dubai, which she created in 2010 along with Steven Charlton, who has recently moved to the London office. Despite its constant development in previous years, Thorsen has successfully managed to sustain the company’s mission and is known for supporting young designers, as well as for delivering marvelous design in hospitality and corporate spaces.

Celebrating 16 years of operation in April 2018, Ben Corrigan’s company, Bluehaus Group, has grown constantly from three to fifty people. The company now provides exclusive projects of architecture; interior design; mechanical, electrical, plumbing (MEP), engineering consultancies, the recently established Urban Surveys, a 3D-point cloud laser surveying business based in D3. Bluehaus Group has a ‘2020Vision’, which establishes its three-year plan leading up to 2020, and focus on investment in technology, as well as the growth of human resources to 75.
Kevin McLachlan has over 25 years of experience in designing destinations in Europe and the Middle East, developing successful concepts for the hospitality, residential, and corporate sectors. He joined Godwin Austen Johnson (GAJ) in 2012 as head of interior design, where he leads a team of 50 designers, among them Gillian Blair, CID’s 2017 Young Designer of the Year.
